I'm Back

Allow me to be me for a minute -

For much of my adult life, I've wanted to build commonguy.com into something special, unique and different.

Heck I was to the web in my first iteration well before the web was cool. My first attempt got that cool little NEW icon in Yahoo search that exploded into 30,000 and more views in a short period of time. Those were the days that there were not a lot of us out here doing this type of thing.

But life happens.

I took a position at a publishing company and helped provide television and entertainment content for hundreds of thousands of people every month in various roles, but mostly working with customers on the front lines.

And I made appearances on media outlets across America with anyone who would listen. Radio, tv, print, web...it did NOT matter. I just LOVE talking movies and the industry with anyone and everyone.

But over those years, too many things going on in my life have caused the web experience to suffer. I've had a lack of things posted, preferring to concentrate on radio, print and tv for the 5 years or so that I did guest spots.

I really am sad about that.

So I thought, I thought and decided. I need to do more and I want to do more.

The industry has changed over the years and my coverage has been as focused on home viewing. So you'll hear me talk about television and the movies. Those who have listened on air know, it's a big part of what we chat about week inand week out.

I'm also not the young buck I once was - so I can't do the two hours of sleep things I have done in the past.

So, what can you expect from this iteration of the Common Guy?

I will continue to share my love for the movies and being entertained.

I will add more of my opinions to things in the industry.

I will give some short releases and long form content.

I will post on my schedule but always be open to questions.

I will inform where I can and direct to some of the best content.

I will have fun.

And...who knows what else the future holds?

Thanks for hanging around - I hope you continue to enjoy the content that has been on air and in print - and I hope I have the ability to keep you entertained.

I'm BACK!

Remeber to Save Me A Seat!
